General Tips for a Quicker Spanish Learning
The Do´s and the Dont´s
The success of a Programme, understood as a substantial improvement in the use of day to day Spanish, depends essentially on the each participant. This means you!
A week is very short and because of this, it is fundamental thatyou really do wish to improve your Spanish.
We would like to give you the following tips before you try out one of our Programmes.
Before you come to Spain
Go over your Spanish so as not to arrive with just a vague memory of the language. Watch a Spanish film, look at Spanish magazines or listen to Spanish radio stations on the internet.
Whilst you're in Spain
1-Try to listen and speak as much as possible.
2-Don't worry about making mistakes when speaking –it really is normal.
3-Mix with the different people on your Programme, and take a special interest in getting to know them better.
4-Share your experiences and anecdotes.
5-There will be moments when FTSwill ask you to be responsible for something or to carry out a special task sometime during the Programme. Enjoy this opportunity.
6-Ask, ask, ask and ask again. Only then will you know the answers –in Spanish.
7-Most importantly, don't leave your sense of humour or your happiness at home. Both of these things will improve your level of Spanish whilst you have a great time. This will beyour greatest tool to obtain the best results.
After the Programme
Do not suddenly stop using your Spanish. You will find that younow understand films better: you will be able to read magazines and listen to the radio stations that you tried to understand before coming on the Programme.
